Boasting members of Long Island Hardcore acts such as Warehouse, Hangman, Detriment, and Ennui, Private Mind’s musical style scratches an entirely different itch.
Taking influence from hometown bands like On the Might of Princes and Silent Majority, just as much as acts like Jawbox and Fugazi, the songs are as innovative as they are catchy. The driving rhythms are wrapped in dynamic guitars, complemented by radio-friendly choruses vocalized by singer/guitarist Dan Alivio. Rounding out the band are Mike Varley (bass), Sal Manaro (drums), and Anthony Manaro (guitar).
